Anyone know how long gas lasts mixed with two stroke oil? I forgot too put stabilizer in my dirt-bike's tank and wondering if i should drain it or not.

Have a bike in thanks

I wouldn't use if it's been more than 3-4 months. It might run a little rough/weak as it gets older. You can always add more to "freshen" it up a little.

Over 4 months and it's gonna be a rough (or non-existent) ride.

Probably should be safe for a few months. Start the bike asap, add fresh mix to what's in there if it runs ok, but ride it through a tank or two if you can.

If it's been through a massive temperature change where the gasoline would have absorbed moisture, drain it. If it's been fairly stable temperatures, the gasoline won't have turned into varnish and you should be alright.

might as well mix in some fresh premix with the bad gas and give it a shot. if the carb isn't clogged, ethanol in the fuel is likely the biggest problem. just avoid pushing the motor too hard until you have fresh fuel in it.
